For the fourth of July, we did the only true American thing to do and ventured up to the Flagstaff with our friends for a small town celebration. It felt a little like Sweet Home Alabama meets the Sandlot and it was perfect. After breakfast we watched the parade (my first fourth of july parade... ever) and then we spent the rest of the day at the city fair dancing, crafting, eating, playing and chatting.
Later in the evening, we journeyed down south and lit fireworks with Gunnar's cousins! One particularly got away and everyone ran for their lives while I took a picture.
