blessed

Tanner was able to give Paige the most beautiful blessing in our home over the weekend. I'm so grateful for him and the example that he is to me and our children. How blessed we are to have him with us forever! It was a great day for all of us. One that I will never forget.

visitors!

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I LOVE guests! I love when friends and family come to stay and play. It is so much fun for my little family to have playmates all day long. We always travel to them and rightfully so to escape the frightful weather but it just makes it more of a home to hear the laughter of family. My parents and sisters came  for the weekend to join in the blessing of baby girl and we were all so excited! I would imagine that most new mothers would bask in the opportunity to sleep longer when a loving grandparent comes into the room and sweeps the baby out before she makes to much noise to wake us up, but not this mom right here. Most mornings I was up before the baby because I was too excited to sleep. I would leave her in dreamland with a sleeping daddy and head downstairs to play and do you want to know what they said when I came downstairs in all my excitement? ... "where's the baby?" (backfired)

Anywho, we had an absolute blast with Gunnar, Paige, Wade and Jett all in the same house for an entire weekend. All the aunties got their fair share (and then some) of attention, Paige finally got to meet Aunt Hannah, all the kiddies got to play from dawn till dusk... and sometimes after, and all of us "adults" got to relax. I would do it all over in a heartbeat. Here is a plethora of random pictures to show off our fun.

updated

Here is an update of life lately:

It is definitely summer! Swim lessons were a bit iffy at first but G finally found his fins and swims all day every day!

We have had so much fun cousin and friend time:

Gunnar's love for trucks has multiplied by 7 million:

Dad : "Gunnar, what do you want to be when you grow up?"
Gunnar : "a truck."

Cuddles have become a daily occurrence:

As well as joint tummy time and joint diaper time:

Gunnar has mastered hymns, prayers and climbing:

"Mommy, where Gunnar go? It's dark!"

Paige has mastered chillin, sleeping and smiling:

She has slept 8 hours straight each night since she was 4 weeks old

and I've mastered Target with two kids, jam and dislocating my thumb:

We can't wait to see what the rest of summer has in store for us!
